MS Exchange Engineer

 

RESPONSIBILITIES Level III support of Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2003 servers Assist with back up and restores Assist users in all areas of MS Exchange mail Resolve trouble tickets

 

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Microsoft BackOffice products ? Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and Systems Management Server. Experience in large Enterprise Active Directory and Exchange 5.5, 2000, and 2003 environments Knowledge of Remedy Action request system Experience with Microsoft clustering technologies Experience in Exchange migration from 5.5 to 2000, 5.5 to 2003, 2000 to 2003 Experience of Back up applications and topologies Knowledge with Blackberry Exchange Server (BES) is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure design Experience in Clustered environments May provide 24/7 on call support

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Position requires a minimum of five years? experience Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering preferred or 5 years of specialized experience in Lieu of degree. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) 2000/2003 is a must Working proficiency in English (written and oral); ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues in work environment.

 

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS Individuals selected, shall be subject to a background investigation and must receive a favorable adjudication from the VA Office of Security and Law Enforcement prior to project performance.
