Description
We are seeking an outstanding lead quality assurance manager to join our product development team. As a key member of this team, you will have direct responsibility for ensuring that our market-leading applications continue to provide clients exceptional quality and sophistication.
You will be responsible for the daily management of our QA team. You will have ample opportunity to apply your experience working on projects with aggressive timelines and providing time and resource estimates for the projects. You will work on complex problems, where analysis is required to determine the root source of problems and associated factors. It is a must that you are detail oriented, analytical and a problem-solver able to multi-task with demonstrated leadership skills. You will have opportunity to work on innovative financial applications utilizing the latest technologies. You will be responsible for understanding client needs and for ensuring that product specifications, functionality and underlying analytics fulfill client needs. Members of our QA team have the opportunity to contribute in a broad set of roles including studying functional, non-functional and analytic specifications, developing test plans and test cases, black box, performance and API testing, automated test tool implementation.


Skills Required
?Undergraduate degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science or Statistics
?Demonstrated leadership skills
?Substantial work experience in quantitative data analysis, financial engineering/programming or financial software utilization, preferably with a commercial financial software vendor
?Experience with financial concepts in the context of investment or portfolio risk management
?Experience with Windows, MS Office tools, Silk Test & Performer
?Experience with test automation, including programming experience with VB or C++
?Experience with formal and informal software testing
?High degree of motivation, with strong communications skills and ability to learn quickly.


Skills Desired
?Advanced degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science or Statistics
?Working experience with Equity or Fixed Income portfolio management
?Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
?Working experience testing in client/server application environments
?Formal QA-process training
?Experience with commercial test-automation tools
