MVS EDI Analyst

DUTIES: Work in a team environment handling the development of EDI/E-commerce transactions and mapping interfaces to various back-end systems, particularly MVS. This includes interacting with business process teams and users, writing programs and scripts, creating and modifying EDI maps, and preparing the appropriate documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of EDI and associated business processes. Position will also provide support for the current day to day activity of a large-scale global EDI environment (1500+ trading partners using 35+ EDI transactions). Must be willing to participate in on-call support rotation and travel occasionally when requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
' Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
' EDI translator and mapping experience (ANSI X12 or EDIFACT) using Sterling GIS (additional knowledge of Gentran Basic along with GIS is a plus)
' MVS experience ' in TSO, COBOL, and CICS
' Business and application experience in order processing, and/or purchasing
' SAP/EDI experience including IDOC structures and processing is a plus
