Mac Specialist

Mac Specialist Description: Responsible for providing courteous, accurate, and timely technical support via tletphone to employees and external customers. Identifies, troubleshoots, documetns, resolves, escalates, and tracks customer issues as appropriate. Works under direct supervision. Answers and responds to IS&T HelpLine incoming calls. Escalates unresolved customer issues and recommends documented temporary bypass solutions and alternative procedures. Actively contributes to the department's knowledge base through research and projects. Meets service level agreements as defined with business units. Contacts vendors and 2nd level support technicians as needed. Tracks and analyzes problem resolutions for training issues. Validates customer satisfaction when closing escalated problems. Aminsisters Systems Security. Maintains ongoing knowledge of Apple internal and external products. Maintains communication among team mambers for any issues, customer problems, and application and procedural changes.




Requirements:
Job Requirements: Requires customer service or technical experience and good verbal and written communications skills. Experience: Generally requires AA/AS degree or equivalent experience in customer support. Experience with technical support and problem-solving skills preferred. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills required to serve diverse customer base and deal effectively with escalating issues. Local candidates preferred.

Macintosh experience required
