Mail File Analyst

One of our premier clients in St. Louis has an immediate need for a Database Mail File Analyst. This position is responsible for developing mail files for direct marketing efforts.  Work with internal clients (business groups) and database analytics manager to develop and plan for targeting customer by mining our databases.

 

This requires an understanding of marketing and customer data, relational database models, and experience in SQL queries and Oracle databases.  Finally, the Analyst will translate their raw data into presentable and easily understood findings and reports for our internal clients. This position requires a technical person with a thorough understanding of marketing and customer profiling.

 

This is a permanent position.

 

Specifically, this person will:
Work with internal clients to understand their marketing information needs and support their marketing programs through providing mailing lists for direct mail efforts and analyze the results of direct marketing efforts and marketing tests and provide actionable recommendations
Provide data mining and analytic support to internal clients (business groups) and fulfill ad hoc data requests related to direct marketing efforts.

 

Required Experience:
1 year of experience in data mining, such as targeting, segmentation and customer profiling, etc., is required.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Must have good organization skills.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
The candidate will be asked to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.  Therefore multitasking and ability to prioritize are important.
Understanding of relational databases is required.
1+ years of SQL and Oracle experience preferred.
