Mainframe Developer & Analyst

Technology Application Consultant with a mainframe development background. Will interface with business users to help gather and refine business requirements. Will work with Information Technology teams to complete enterprise-wide Systems Requirement Specifications documents, either as an owner or co-owner of the document. Will prepare detailed COBOL technical specifications to be used by coders for writing COBOL code and defining a unit test plan. Will attend walk-through sessions to review and sign off on all documents and code. Will support, as needed, system testing, string testing and UAT testing. Will function as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for application functionality. Will work with Production Support team, when needed, to research issues with system code and specifications.
Will use System Development Lifecycle methodology and tools for all tasks.

Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree or experience
Development experience in Cobol
