SALARY:  PSC-11 grade level ($54,272 - $70,558)

 

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

U.S. Department of State, Overseas Buildings Operations, Information Management Division has an opening for a Management Analyst that will provide a wide range of activities related to the Bureau?s information technology program.  The activities involve the application of Federal and Department policies to financial, technical, and administrative support for the Bureau.  The incumbent maintains the financial and other detailed information regarding the Bureau?s IT investments, as well as, prepares reports and other information to justify and support IT investments.  The activities of this position directly impact the discretionary authority of senior management regarding expenditures of IT funds.

 

DUTIES:

Applicant should address specific knowledge, skills, and abilities:  (1) Ability to manage an IT investment portfolio; (2) Ability to produce multi-year budget forecasts; (3) Knowledge of principles of administrative and operational analysis, organizational planning and development, (4) Ability to formulate new or alternative strategies to achieve organizational IT investment goals and objectives; (5) Exceptional customer service delivery skills; and (6) Written and oral communication skills.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Applicant must have at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level in the Federal service, which has equipped him/her with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.  This experience must be related to the work of the position as defined in the duties and must be equivalent to the next lower grade level.

 

 

MANDATORY:

This position is a one-year renewable personal service contract position. This position is located in Arlington, VA.
