The Manager will play a key role in the development of architectural strategy and IT guiding principals and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the business strategy. This role is responsible for setting the overall direction, policies and guidelines for the organization's Architecture function, providing leadership, influencing change and driving the overall definition and execution of cross-architecture initiatives required to achieve efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation objectives. In addition this role will manage the portfolio of IT assets by assessment of benefits, risks and costs in the context of the business strategy, providing Buy/Hold/Retire recommendations for application / technology portfolio management.

Selected candidate must display a progressive career in the development and management of architecture governance processes with demonstrated success of ensuring compliance of all projects to the desired state architecture, with a minimum of 5 years management and a total of 14+ years of a combination of education and or relevant work experience. This will include providing analysis, benchmarking and provide risk / return profiles on emerging application / technologies and translate implications of the new architecture into an effective IT vision and strategy. Candidate selected will show an established profile as an architecture leader both inside and outside of IT, creation of business alliances and lead joint ventures with technology vendors and success in operating in changing environments with high ambiguity and highly matrixed resources. Manager must possess leadership skills for team formation, mentoring and coaching. There five are positions to be filled aligning with major business units. (1) Consumer (2) Business and Wholesale (3) Network (4) Corporate, Finance and North Supply (5) IT - including platforms, operating systems, IT tools and 3rd party software technologies.
