Manager, IT PMO

The Technology Manager role is responsible for the management of the IT Release and Resource Management department and will interfacing with the IT Leadership for Application Engineering. The successful candidate with have experience in managing and leading along with significant experience in an IT environment. The ability to work in a matrixed organization that supports Application Engineering is necessary. Responsibilities will include:


Leading a staff of within IT Release Management, Resource Management, Learning Services and Contractor Management and performing the day-to-day services provided by the department. The final make up of the department will be determined by the candidate selected. This is the desired span of control for the idea candidate.

Develop strategic plans and objectives to meet the needs of the client organizations.

Develop team goals and implement concise metrics to drive to created goals.

The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The ability to coordinate workflow and influence various business partners.

Minimum Requirements:


Bachelors degree

Strong PC tool skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, Access)

Strongly Desired Qualifications:


Prior experience in an IT portfolio environment preferably in a lead or management role.

Prior management level experience

Prior process documentation and re-engineering experience

Prior experience developing and producing management level metrics, measurements and trend reports

Prior IT project management experience
