U. S. Foodservice?, one of the nation?s largest foodservice distribution companies is seeking a Transportation Manager for its Baltimore division.

 

Job Description

Successful candidate will be responsible for providing Information Systems support to warehouse operations and divisions IT needs.  Develop the appropriate systems, maintenance and support to facilitate delivery of food products to end user customer base.  Also responsible for management and direction of IS Department.  Provide network administration and security.  Project leader for IS and Division initiatives. 

 

Qualifications

?  Bachelors Degree Information Technology/Management or related field or equivalent experience

?  5-7 years supervisory experience

?  Knowledge of IBM Mainframe, Office XP, Access, Data, Warehouse Management systems

?  Server infrastructure knowledge; ability to maneuver around servers (e.g.: Transmit, Dot.com)

?  Laptop and PC repair knowledge

?  Experience in a warehouse environment preferred

?  Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills
