Manager, Legacy Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide technical management for the analysis, design, integration, testing, and maintenance of WSI Legacy Merchandising and Direct-to-Customer systems. Lead a team of internal and contract resources, managing multiple concurrent projects of various size and complexity in a complex systems environment.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Typically at least 8 years progressively responsible experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 4 years departmental management and people supervision/ management
*Experience in developing & managing a technical team for application development and production support
*Multi-channel Retail experience strongly desired
*Strong knowledge of and experience with all phases of systems development life cycle for large systems, including strategy development
*Strong team building, staff development, change management, and leadership skills
*Demonstrated success in working effectively with internal business partners, vendors, and consultant resources
*Strong interpersonal and communications skills
*Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience

*AS/400 application experience desired

*Ability to use computer for extended period of time
