Life Science Managers perform multiple roles, often concurrently. Managing consultants are client-service individuals responsible for leading strategy and transformation engagement teams, as well as being the day-to-day interface of clients? project leads. As a Team or Project Lead, they are responsible for guiding and developing junior staff and ensuring the successful performance of the team. They facilitate sessions, design and conduct detailed analyses, and participate in the development and presentation of recommendations to executives. They also apply project management skills to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize client investment. They often pair with client project managers.  Managers are responsible for  leading strategy and operations engagement teams; being the primary interface to client executives, program / project sponsors, and / or project and work stream leads; designing and executing program / project approaches, analyses, work streams and deliverables.  Accountability for delivery of strategy and operations work streams and projects, including - sales and marketing, clinical and R&D, managed care, medical affairs, and support and operations functions.  Responsible for managing client relationships at key and/or developing accounts, often entails management of multiple client engagements across various functional areas. Remaining apprised of the critical business issues of client companies and executives, and bringing appropriate approaches and points of view to address them.  Establishing Capgemini as a trusted and preferred source of management consulting and IT services.

Responsible for business development and  winning new clients for Capgemini by developing new approaches, points of view and associated marketing collateral to address emerging industry issues and developing approaches and strategies for introducing Capgemini to new clients, and managing teams in executing these introductions.

We are seeking experienced individuals who have a strong track record of success in both the Life Sciences industry and in Management Consulting.  Experience in a Consulting firm, preferably Big 5, Account Management experience, team-based delivery management experience, demonstrated business development capability / willingness.  Recent, in-depth Life Sciences industry experience.  Sub-sector, in preferred order:  pharmaceuticals; medical devices; biotech. Function, in preferred order:  Managed Care Marketing; Brand / Therapeutic Area Management; Medical Affairs / Medical Marketing.  Advance degree desirable; prefer MBA, MPH or PhD.
