Manager Plant & Supply Chain

Position Description:

Pepperidge Farm, a quality leader in breads, cookies, crackers, and frozen food, seeks an innovative, high-energy individual to join our Information Technology team in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Job Description:
The Manager, IT ? Plant and Supply Chain Systems will be responsible for the functional and project support of Pepperidge Farm's Plant and Supply Chain Systems. The Manager will work closely with our business partners and functional team in determining and driving activities that support business requirements. This individual will have ultimate responsibility for the management and implementation of those activities. Additionally, the Manager will be involved in Process Design with business customers and peers as well as working with technical teams to implement solutions.

Our current systems include plant transaction systems (BPCS), an order-to-cash transaction system (SAP), a decision-support tool (Manugistics), and a custom Business Intelligence tool.

The Plant and Supply Chain Manager will also have responsibility for managing the objectives, contributions and development of any required staff (currently 2 team members). Limited travel (10-20%) may be required.

Job Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in either Information Technology or related to Supply Chain Planning (preferred)
? 4-5 years work experience in: Manufacturing Scheduling, MRP, Logistics, Forecasting, Distribution Planning, and/or Capacity
? Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
? Managerial experience and a track record of successful staff development preferred
? Ability to evaluate business situations, and to develop solutions through systems and processes.
? Project Experience ? usage of accepted implementation methodologies
? Application Experience ? particularly Manugistics, BPCS and SAP
? Systems Experience ? AS400, UNIX preferred; other platforms useful
