Manager Technical Support
COMPANY: Major transportation firm based out of NJ is seeking a Manager of Technical Support. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with Applications, Development and Infrastructure teams, to ensure delivery of applications/technical support
- Establish best practice operations, approaches and procedures for IT support systems
- Conduct reviews of IT operations and performance
- Provide documentation and training to perform tasks and responsibilities.
- Establish acceptance criteria and management processes. ie change management/ incident management
- Manage staff and mentor jr employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10+ years of experience in a helpdesk manager or technical support manager role
- Knowledge of ITIL and best practices- HP Openview Experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written), people management and customer service skills.
- Project management knowledge and skills - Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite - Strong knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Outlook.
- Citrix experience preferred - 4 year college degree preferred
