ALSTOM is a world leader in the power generation services and equipment, rail transportation, power conversion, and marine industries.? The ALSTOM ITC ? US organization is seeking a full time Manager, US ITC Applications Services with a minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The selected incumbent will lead a team of approximately 30 individuals at 7 locations across multiple sites in the delivery of application development and support services to the Alstom businesses in the U.S.? The position will be located in Windsor, CT.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the delivery and support of production applications as agreed with the business.
Responsible to introduce, implement and oversee the proper usage of industry standard Application Development Process Models.
Work with the Technology Manager to develop an application architecture framework that can effectively meet the needs of the business.
Liaise with the Corporate Applications groups in areas of process models, application architecture and global support requirements and team definition.
Work closely with the Application Corporate Service Lines (ACSL), Project Management Office (PMO) and Capability Maturity Model (CMM) groups to reinforce synergies, co-operation, standardization, and best practices.
Maintain staffing levels and skills required to operate and support existing portfolio of applications.
Work closely with the Project Manager/Customer Service Management (PM/CSM) Director and CSMs to ensure the hardware and software architecture of production applications meet the strategic and operational needs of the business as defined by the business.
Work closely with the Consolidated Computing and Service Desk/Distributive Computing (SD/DC) manager to properly plan for any required infrastructure upgrades and/or changes.
Responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd level support on application related incidents and service requests for the U.S.
Work closely with the PM/CSM Director and Project Managers to determine the appropriate application staffing in support of both internal and business related initiatives.
Work closely with the SD/DC Manager to resolve any problems identified through the Service Desk.
Responsible to adequately monitor the critical applications being supported to ensure adequate performance and availability in accordance with business SLA?s and OLA?s.? This should be coordinated with the Centralized Computing Manager.
Responsible for configuration and change management activities related to supported applications.
Provide accurate input into quarterly forecasting
Work closely with the PM/CSM Director and CSMs in determining an appropriate applications charge-back methodology and related pricing levels.
Support the PM/CSM Director and Financial Controller in maintaining a standardized, efficient and effective billing process within the US ITC.
It is expected that this individual will gain an understanding of the ITC business model and related processes and become a key contributor to the US ITC leadership team.

Special Requirements
Bachelor?s degree in business or related field plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.? An MBA is a plus
Position will require occasional travel both domestically and internationally.
