Manual Testing QA Associate

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance / Testing Analyst to be responsible for working as part of a team that ensures that our web based applications are released error free. This individual will create test cases and scripts and execute manual testing on our web based applications and user interfaces, which are developed in a .NET platform. Qualifications :
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and knowledge in the following areas: * Formal testing background, including execution of test scripts * Strong attention to detail and organization * Basic understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) * Strong understanding of QA processes specifically testing * Experience with formal test environments and projects that used formal test plans. * Solid conceptual understanding of IT applications: programs, databases, operating system, etc. * Ability (over time) to understand complex distributed business processes and organizational dynamics. * Familiarity with common office technology such as email, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
