Mapping Consultant

Project Description: The client is looking to merge clinical information into a worldwide standard. The client is looking for candidates to have extensive data mapping skills with at least 1-3 years experience. The candidate should have worked in a clinical / pharmaceutical environment and have experience with merging in large scale environments. The candidate should have expertise with ETL tools, SAS, Data Validation, and some of the end clients proprietary systems would be a huge plus.

Day to Day:
Mapping one variable to another.
Transforming one variable to another.
Transforming one code list to another
Implement the test plan and provide documented evidence of test plan results.
Programmers will be required to use the following tools to perform the ETL functions:
Data Transformer  and SAS.
The source data will be found in Oracle Clinical, SAS, or stand-alone flat files.

Required Skills:
QA/QC in a Pharma environment.
Understanding of the Protocol and study CRFs.
Understanding of the LDM.
Understanding of the Legacy data and Structure.
Understanding of the purpose and meaning of the data presentations.
Understanding of the previous steps.
Good knowledge of clinical data.
Thoroughness.
Comprehension of and linking of large data volumes.
