Marketing Director / Capture Manager

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Researches, prepares and edits complex technical documents for publication, primarily for technical solutions, technical proposals, and requests for information. 2. Strong current knowledge in the area of secure ID, Information Assurance and Information Technology as it applies to solutions for Federal Civilian Agencies. 3. Reviews, researches, and edits information for preparation of technical solutions 4. Interfaces with technical personnel, subject matter experts, and proposal team in coordinating/preparing the overall proposal technical approach. 5. Participates in the creation of proposals and multi - media presentation materials 6. May serve as a technical volume team leader

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Typically requires 10 - 15 years of related experience in the research and preparation of technical materials 2. Senior level (> $100M) capture and proposal experience 3. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline required 4. Master's Degree preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of technical research, writing and editing 2. Strong current knowledge in the area of Secure ID, Information Assurance and Information Technology as it applies to solutions for Federal Civilian Agencies 3. Experience working on short and long term proposal activities, particularly for opportunities >$100M 4. Experience writing, reviewing, and editing proposal/business development content 5. Effective oral and written communication skills 6. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and exceed customer expectations 7. Solutions-oriented, problem-solver with team and customer-centric focus 8. Capability to work independently and as a part of a geographically dispersed team 9. Advanced Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Anticipated to be no more than 1 to 5 nights a month.
