Materials Engineer (Composites)
What are the basic qualifications for this position?: Support and execution of the Composite Repair Risk Reduction work package for the HLR program Support of blade and composite versus metal trade studies for HLR program Support of Structural Allowable risk reduction  test planning Must review designs for proper application of processing requirements per Sikorsky standards including material selection, composite processing requirements(including in-process testing) bonding requirements and finishes Experience, Special Skills, and Description Required: Materials and Process Engineer, Composites1 Experience in composite material properties processing (autoclave molding, fiber placement RTM and braiding) and coupon testing2 Experience in the area of composite repair and materials specifically as it relates to Navy aircraft3 Preliminary design material inputs (for composite materials and finishes)4  Familiar with Navy aircraft corrosion critiera5 Experience in writing and execution of Risk Reduction tests and planning Minimum Experience:: 3-5 Years
