Maximo Consultant

Maximo Consultant CGI-AMS is seeking a Maximo Consultant to work as a team member in the Advantage Service Line to implement and upgrade MRO Maximo including interfacing to other applications. Responsibilities of the position include working with end users to document requirements for configuration and reporting, communicating requirements to development when necessary, coordinating with team members to design, create, test, and implement modifications to the application. Candidate will provide subject matter expertise in business process areas of asset maintenance including parts inventory control, preventative maintenance processes, procurement, and equipment.
Candidate will also share best practices acquired through experience with our users and project team members and develop end user documentation as necessary.

Skill requirements include: 3+ years of experience with MRO Maximo in version 5.x or MXES (6.0); subject matter expert on asset management software, focus on areas of asset maintenance including parts inventory control, preventative maintenance processes, procurement, and equipment; experience in implementing MRO for government Utility or Public Works agency; knowledge of enhancing MRO and report development; understanding of MRO Support, validating patches is essential; 3+ years of experience as a consultant with a focus on customer support and requirements management; 3+ years of experience in project delivery as a functional and/or technical expert.

Other skills include excellent written and oral skills; excellent people skills; ability to communicate and coordinate among different levels of management and users; excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite of products; and the ability to manage and update project tasks using project management tools.
