Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Clinical Systems Implementation Specialist experienced in implementing McKesson Star HIM systems to join our team in Plano, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

Standardization, file building, documentation and management of a HIM Medical Records System focused on coding, abstracting and chart tracking/deficiencies.

Development of systems operations procedures, policies, and application monitoring.

Assisting the project team in developing, monitoring, and managing technology support and operational implementation work plans.

Providing training, testing and support during the implementation cycle.

Reporting to the McKesson Clinical Solutions Implementation Leader, this resource may be matrixed to other teams or serve as a team leader for projects across Clinical Systems.

Required Skills:

10 years working in a hospital medical records which includes coding (RHIA highly desirable).

Implementation experience

Ability to communicate at the C level

Candidate must demonstrate strong project coordination experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The outstanding candidate will also have extensive revenue cycle management experience and experience with system installation and/or support (STAR HIM optimal).

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

Bachelors or RN
