Primary responsibilities include:


 


Gathering and generating information used to understand medical costs

Preparing trend analysis and measuring cost-saving initiatives

Summarizing data

Running reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Assisting with special projects as necessary



Solid data analysis experience is an absolute must. Demonstrated experience using systems to analyze and/or manipulate data is required. A background within the healthcare industry is strongly preferred. Solid MS Office skills are a must. Working knowledge of medical costs is desired, as is an understanding of medical coding and terminology. Understanding of Medicaid or Medicare in Arizona is a big plus. The emphasis of this role will be on the analysis of data rather than the gathering of data.
