Meditech Team Manager (CR) (4538)

Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Meditech Team Leader to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities

Lead project and team daily operations to ensure deliverables are completed and problem areas are addressed

Deliver services within the controls of the project / team on the obligations defined within the service contract signed between customer and Perot Systems

Provide involvement in team interviewing of new staff members

Mentor team members for career development

Identify possible areas of improvement of business and project/team processes

Provide direction for team member training

Recommend staffing levels for project/team for efficiency and optimum use of time

Provide performance feedback to assigned team members

Assess customer satisfaction on a regular basis and provides input to address areas for improvement

Assist in the client planning process

Give input to training/associate development process

Provide individual performance feedback to assigned team members

Develop project team's plan of work with milestone schedules

Prepare and coordinate staffing assignments and assigns work and monitors performance to ensure satisfactory progress and project time management

Ensure technical accuracy and adequacy of team results and prepares and presents status reports for management review

Establish cost and time estimates for implementation

Review project schedule and determines necessary changes prior to implementation

Direct daily operations to ensure deliverables are completed and problem areas are addressed

Compile and report financial data on assigned project(s) to senior management

Required Skills

A minimum of 3 years Meditech applications experience, including implementation, module coordination, or upgrades for large healthcare enterprises

A minimum of 3 years experience in a primary support role for Meditech applications

Beginner level or above NPR report writing skills

Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a desire to progress toward a management job profile

A minimum of 3 years experience in hospital operations

Lead knowledge in a major customer competency

Experience developing technical and business specifications for projects

Recognized as a go-to individual for Meditech application issues

Excellent client, vendor, project team, and employee relationship skills

Desired Skills

Project coordination and management experience

Experience leading Meditech application implementation teams

Experience working with Meditech's client server platform
