Manager, Environment Engineering

This position oversees the Information Technology Testing of IT processes to ensure compliance for Business Continuity in a dynamic business and technology environment, in addition to working on projects to enhance Countrywide Financial Corporation?s ability to recover technology lost due to a major business disruption. Acting as the central point of contact for assigned testing environments, the successful candidate will be relied on to ensure that test environments are up, running correctly, and highly available. Key functions will include determining appropriate actions to ensure that testing/consolidation goals are met; performing server capacity planning and modeling for server sizing, workload consolidation, performance analysis, and problem resolution; and communicating with Technology Groups, Project Management and clients regarding the status of environments related to testing and recommendations on the consolidation of systems. Other duties will include interacting with development staff to determine appropriate server configuration and assure completeness/integrity of servers across multiple environments, assuring that server configurations have been accurately documented in the appropriate format, and making recommendations to improve the testing process and overall Information Technology Business Continuity Program.

Requirements:
- 5+ years management experience in a Microsoft Technologies environment, specifically in Win NT, Windows 2000, SQL Server, etc.
- Knowledge of Windows NT/2000 Server and Workstation, specifically of rebuilding
servers and configuring/upgrading servers.
- Proven knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.
- Proven knowledge of SQL Server, specifically of rebuilding, configuring and upgrading servers.
- Strong knowledge in Business Continuity in a large organization.
- Demonstrated skills in leading and directing the work of others in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to accurately manage and maintain a large number of servers across multiple applications in an environment of ever-changing priorities and timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects affecting multiple systems.
- Analytical skills sufficient to determine the source of complex network and client/server
issues.
- Communication skills sufficient to effectively deal with diverse groups of individuals with varying technical abilities.
- Ability to work off-hours in order to provide support of the test lab as needed.


Experience in Documentum administrative activities preferably in a UNIX and Oracle environment

? Installation and Configuration of Documentum's Content server 525/53 in an AIX environment.
? Upgrading the content server and Documentum products like DFC, Webtop, WDK, DAM, DA
? Implement custom content migration solutions from DMX to Centera
