Job Description:


Dataline is a premier provider of information technology services, infrastructure, and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Dataline is currently looking for a Microsoft .NET Developer. Our client is a premier healthcare facility which is located in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.  It operates more than 87 care giving sites, including 7 acute care hospitals with a total of 1,722 beds, 2 outpatient care campuses, 7 nursing centers, 3 assisted living centers, and over 265 primary care and multi-specialty physicians.  They are currently making extensive modifications to a dynamic Microsoft-based Health Plan website.


Job Responsibilities:


The .NET Developer primarily will be responsible for the design, development, unit testing, and implementation of a web-based application using VB.NET/C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.  Please note that Content Management Server would be a nice-to-have skill.  This will be a consulting position for a minimum of ten months with an option to extend.  Please note that there will be at least three (3) positions.

 

Required Skills:

 Requires strong working knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET/C#Proven experience in analysis/design, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to resolve customer and system issue Minimum two years of experience Microsoft .NET


Desired Skills:

 Healthcare experience .NET Certification Solid SQL Server experience

 

Minimum Educational Requirements:

 Undergraduate degree preferred

 Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in an information systems environment Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
