About SKT Business Communication Solutions:

SKT Business Communication Solutions is searching for a Systems Engineer. SKT BCS is an aggressive, full-service IT and voice integrator that has a long history of providing quality IT, consulting and professional resource solutions to hundreds of clients throughout the region. Successful applicants will work with limited supervision; assist with project execution and delivery with high-quality deliverables and high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, these individuals will act as the primary line of remote and on-site support for addressing customer implementations and troubleshooting services.



Responsibilities:

Responsible for support and implementation of server and back office applications Responsible for software and PC deployment projects Responsible for desktop and applications support for internal and external customers Participate in the setup and administration of Exchange Servers Participate in Active Directory design and migration projects Maintain Systems documentation Participate in the management and support of WINS, DHCP, and Windows DNS.





Preferred Skills:

Successful applicants will have systems support and deployment, strong, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must have demonstrated at least 3 years of successful performance the IT industry and have knowledge or experience in the following areas:

Microsoft systems administration of Windows NT, 2000, or 2003 Server Back Office Platforms (IIS, SQL Server, Exchange Server and Sharepoint) Thorough understanding of Windows 9x, 2000 and XP desktop operating systems support and troubleshooting Software and systems deployment and automation with technologies. Experience with RIS, GPO or scripting based projects would also be preferred Scripting and/or programming experience in: VBScript, Visual Basic, .NET and/or WSH Project Management training and/or experience. Thorough understanding of current LAN & WAN technologies. Thorough understanding of the Internet, and name resolution including WINS & DNS. Working experience with Unix operating system. Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure. Working knowledge of MS Office products including Project, Word, and Visio Working Knowledge of Information Security best practices and guidelines Microsoft CRM, Project Server, SharePoint services



The successful applicant should have a bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of IT systems implementation experience. Certifications such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA or Citrix are desirable.
