Microstrategy Architect

NOTE:  THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE FREQUENT TRAVEL TO BOSTON.  MAJORITY OF THE WORK TO BE DONE IN OUR BRIDGEWATER, NJ OFFICE.

 

MicroStrategy Architect

 

Responsibilities:

- Works interactively with the client to develop report designs and prototypes

- Provides direction to a MicroStrategy developer and interfaces with client during development and testing

- Proposes analytical frameworks and output formats based on previous knowledge of Pharmaceutical sales & marketing reporting

- Suggests improvements to existing reports and frameworks

- Writes detailed design specifications for MicroStrategy reports and frameworks

- Develops prototypes and conducts on site reviews with end users

- Maps reporting metrics and attributes to data model

- Directs developers to prepare data for prototyping

- Works interactively with end users to refine ad hoc scenarios and test the system

- Leads design and code reviews with MicroStrategy Developer and Sepracor IT staff

 

Requirements:

 

-Experience designing, developing, or supporting Pharmaceutical Sales Operations reports and analytics

- Must be very familiar with Pharmaceutical sales & marketing data and terminology

- Leadership skills

- Strong client interfacing skills

- Capable of developing report prototypes and detailed designs from high level requirements

- Ability to plan and direct report development

- Creative problem solver

- MicroStrategy report development skills

 

Position requires 2-3 days a week on site in Boston area.
