Mid-Level ASP.Net Developer W/C#

Our client in the Pittsburgh area has an immediate need for a Mid-Level ASP.Net Developer. This position provides support for Intranet services.

Responsibilities include business analysis, design, development, quality assurance testing, implementation and support of various Intranet applications. In addition, monitoring of work orders, service requests, and projects is required as is mentoring and support of other IT staff.

The person should have extensive troubleshooting skills and be able to quickly assess and prioritize issues with any systems, produce a plan to further assess and address the issues, and take a lead role in the resolution.

They are expected to work with minimal supervision and to provide ownership of any issues or projects in those application areas assigned under their scope of responsibility.

Job Requirements:

B.S. in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems analysis and design

Desired experience with the following technologies:

Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server

Web development with ASP, HTML, JavaScript

T-SQL and Reporting Services for SQL Server 2000

C# and the .NET Framework

BizTalk Server 2004

Java

Job Responsibilities:

1.Business analysis, design and specification.

2.Technical design and specification.

3.Website and web application development using ASP, HTML, JavaScript, .NET, Java and other web languages.

4.Development of team sites and portal sites using Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server.

5.Development and support of electronic business processes using InfoPath, SharePoint, and BizTalk.

6.Software maintenance and support of applications, including but not limited to: SSH, Journyx Timesheet, SQL Reporting Services.

7.Development and support of reports using various reporting tools

8.Use of ETL and other tools to develop interfaces.

9.Monitoring and reporting on software maintenance and support under assigned areas.

10.Coordination of assigned tasks and projects.

11.Training of System Support Line, Functional Users, and other Systems/Programmer Analysts on new and existing software

12.Adherence to policies and procedures.

13.Willingness and ability to learn new applications and tools.
