Middleware Administrator

Job Description:
Serves as a Middleware System Administrator for the Single Stock Fund (SSF) Program for the USARPAC CMMC site (Pearl Harbor, Hi). Principal responsibilities will be performing system/database management of an HP Netserver LH-6000 cluster system and conducting causative research on logistics and finance transactions for the PM SSF, local customers and III Corps Installations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft W2K Advanced Server, SQL Server 2000, cluster services and hardware troubleshooting. Knowledge and familiarity with the U.S. Army Supply and Finance Systems are highly desired. Candidate should also be an experienced user of MS Office products and Ethernet networking. Knowledge of SC UNIX is a plus. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communications skills for interfacing with customers and for teaching and assisting other administrators.

Applicant selected will be subject to a security background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent and relevant work experience.
Successful candidates will have 3 years or more experience with Microsoft applications and operating systems with a military logistics or automation background. MCSE or similar training and certification or parallel experience is preferred.
Ability to lead, manage and teach are highly sought skills. Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills; have presented highly complex technical briefings to clients clearly. Travel < 5%

Secret clearance is required to begin work.
