Middleware (J2EE) Team Lead

Insurance industry leader has engaged us to recruit a senior level Web & App Server Engineer with significant experience that's looking to make a difference and have a real impact on an organization. This firm is a leader within the J2EE/?OpenSource community?and is seeking this proven professional to bring best practices, rules and standards to this large environment. That's where the opportunity lies...This individual will be the?Team Leader responsible for coordinating the efforts of 3 JBoss professionals, aiding the Director with budgeting, providing input to performance appraisals and bringing?Best Practices to this environment. Additionally, they will provide hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, performance and tuning of the Web/Application servers.?'Opportunity Exists where challenges?lie.'???

ALL SERIOUS CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

- 2/3+ years of Application and Web Server engineering and administration experience.

- WebSphere, Weblogic or JBoss required!

- Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems and shell scripting

- Clustering and Load Balancing background.

- Solid knowledge of the J2EE stack.

- 24x7 background in a large, highly complex environment.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE A PLUS:

- Team Lead and/or Project Management experience.

-? JBoss, Tomcat, Apache server background.

- SeeBeyond transaction server (or similar tools).

- Previous Java/ J2EE AppDev experience.
