Middleware Product Architect

Kelly Automotive Services Group specializes in the placement of automotive professionals on a contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire basis with the world's leading Automotive Manufacturers and Tier Suppliers. We are currently looking for a Technical Architect to fill a position with one of our major clients on a long term contract basis. The requirements and details are as follows:

Minimum Education
Bachelors Degree, Masters preferred
Required: Good written and verbal communication skills, Strong customer orientation, Adaptable to new environments and assignments, Excellent problem solving skills, Ability to work without supervision

Minimum Experience
At least 7 years IT experience. At least 5 years of J2EE experience. We prefer architecture related positions with Java development skills.

Assignment Details
Internal Title: Enterprise Architect/Product Management

Middleware architects are needed to assist in the integration of technologies into the DaimlerChrysler environment. Application groups as well as technical support groups require consulting through sandbox demonstrations and consulting. Enterprise Architects also require assistance through expert product knowledge and skills. These integration points are not addressed by other technical or application groups.

The candidate must be able to set up a WebSphere environment. The candidate will be involved in prototyping new technologies to support Enterprise Architects. The candidate will attend meetings as an in-house consultant to discuss technologies and architecture with various application areas. The candidate will be assigned to enterprise architecture requests. The candidate must be able to develop technical documentation for the development and technical community. Very good interpersonal skills, good technical writing skills, excellent problem solving skills, strong customer orientation, adaptable to new environments and assignments.
