Support Advertising.com MySql database environment. The MySql DBA will be responsible for: reviewing current database state, identifying problem areas, providing necessary expertise to handle
Day-to-day issues and assist with 24/7 support. The MySql DBA must have strong analytical skills, and experience with all areas of MySql database administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? To Review, maintain, build, support and monitor MySql databases.

Required Skills:
? Knowledge of the MySql database environment versions 3 and 4.
? Knowledge working with VLDB.
? Proficient in MySql database administration.
? Working knowledge of row level processing in MySql.
? Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
? Knowledge of MySql database backup and recovery strategies.
? Proficient with database performance strategies.
? Proficient tuning MySql processes and queries.
? Proficient with RDBMS concepts.
? Proficient in Linux/Red Hat operating systems
? Knowledge of Linux-HA environment.
? Proficient with MyISAM and InnoDB tables.
? Proficient with MySQL replication.
? Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS a plus.
? Must have strong analytical abilities.

Experience Required:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
? 2+ years experience in the related field,
? Or relevant combination of education and experience.
