.NET DEVELOPER - ASP.NET, XML, SQL

A client of ours located in Washington, DC is currently looking for a .NET WEB DEVELOPER to join their team full-time permanent.  The client is looking for experience with ASP.NET as the primary technology. 

Job Description:The Web Developer designs and develops custom web applications for an Internet and Intranet using ASP.NET, XML, and SQL technologies. Provide support and development of websites. Reviews and analyzes user requirements and workflow, and addresses problems. Applies new technology to systems. Delivers systems and products to users by designing and presenting prototype, developing and integrating systems, conducting testing, and providing quality assurance. Creates web design standards for web applications. Develops complex web-based applications in support of company activities. Studies new tools and provides advice and recommendations. Reads technical articles and creates proof-of-concept prototypes in order to keep up with changing technology. Provides technical support and directions to critical systems. Provides advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent knowledge with 4 years of related professional experience. Experience with ASP.NET. Experience with XML.  If candidate has Stellent and/or Plumtree experience (this is a plus, NOT mandatory)  Ability to solve problems of substantial variety and complexity. Ability to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems. Ability to operate with appreciable latitude for independent judgment and action. Ability to work successfully in a team environment. Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees.
