The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Job Description
Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Service Delivery/Operations capability focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client?s employees or the client?s customers in fulfillment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. Examples of professionals in this capability would be software developers and technical architects. The Application Outsourcing specialty incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

 

A Tier 3 Developer is responsible for the development, delivery and support of software, web applications, and other applications, including analysis, design, build, test, implementation, and run phases of the development lifecycle and on-going support.  The Tier 3 Developer must understand the functionality of the supported applications, how they are utilized by the users, and how they interact with other parts of the systems. 

 

Key responsibilities may include:
? Collaborate with members of the development team and other teams to deliver applications according to requirements specifications.

? Develop at all levels of n-tier web applications using advanced web development methodologies.

? Participate in regular team-based code reviews; and incorporate ideas from members of team into developed applications. 

? Provide project/feature analysis and documentation including architecture and design documents

? Integrate software with other applications.

 

Qualifications

  6-7 years in web & client server application development

  Strong experience using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, DHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS and web page layout.

  Datawarehouse experience

  Informatica/ETL experience

  Experience with Farpoint Grid/ Infragistics Net Advantage controls is nice to have

  Strong experience with PL/SQL Programming

  Experience with Oracle Database 8i/9i

  Experience with design and architecture of relational databases.

  Experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

  Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
