Job Description:

APC is looking for a .NET Developer with experience working in a distributed application environment.  Experience in a financial background is required, and experience with Brokerage applications is ideal. 

Applicant will be a member of the staff supporting client's businesses. Full system lifecycle required including development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable solutions. This position will also include working in collaboration with developers in other groups to ensure that the applications adhere to corporate standards and technologies.

The candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting Brokerage distributed applications in the Operations Technology group which consist of both ASP, VB, Access, SQL Server and 3270 macro based applications, as well as new applications written using C#, ASP.NET and Oracle including on-call production support.

Candidate must possess or demonstrate: Good oral and written English communication skills, A team player attitude and must demonstrate an ability to learn existing systems written in an older technology stack, as well as learn new systems written in the latest technology stacks, and be able to participate in small enhancement projects with all of these applications. Candidates possessing the following are preferred: Experience with Microsoft development technologies with 1+ years experience using C# / .NET. ASP.NET/C# and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript are required.

Candidate must anticipate primarily working on support and small enhancement tasks, with a possible migration into the larger application teams based on demonstrated performance on the small enhancement projects.

Graduate level degree in technical field preferred.
