This position is eligible for a $500 Employee Referral Bonus consistent with the University policy.
The Department of Medical Information Technology is seeking a professional .NET/SQL Developer for a Network Specialist III position. Duties include SQL server administration, installation, configuration and management of Windows/Unix/Linux server environments. Install, utilize, and analyze network/system management applications. Create new databases, modify and update existing databases, create custom web pages, web applications, write code, test, modify, analyze and update web pages and applications. Maintain the security of supported systems logon credentials (Logon ID/Password). Excellent verbal and written English skills required. Rotational on-call 24/7 duties.
Minimum requirements include a Technical certificate (Master's designation) from Microsoft or comparable certification (i.e. MCDBA, MCAD, MCPD or equivalent) and 4-years relevant work experience with database development; or, Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Information Systems related field and 2-years relevant experience; or, Bachelor's Degree and 4-years relevant work experience. Must be highly experienced with .NET and SQL development, and web application design. Informix, Oracle and XML experience a plus. Any appropriate combination of education, certifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered.
