EVO Merchant Services is the 5th largest non-bank merchant acquirer and 21st largest acquirer in the U.S.  At the end of 2005, EVO estimates an annual credit card transaction volume of over $8 Billion and transaction volume exceeding 150 million.  In addition, our merchant portfolio is quickly approaching the 100,000 mark.  We also bring on approximately 5,000 new small business customers per month.

 

Our continued success and growth as produced many opportunities in our MIS department at our new location, Melville Corporate headquarters.  We are currently seeking .Net Web Developers from entry to junior level. 

 

Responsibilities

 

As a .NET Web Developer professional, you are a dedicated resource in developing, testing, and deploying EVO's next generation of an Integrated Business Solution.  You are responsible for designing and developing a web-based, n-tier Integrated Business Solution and Reporting System based off of business requirements with strong emphasis on front-end development, and working with managers and staff to evaluate and recommend the "best practices approach" to various requirements.  You will also implement various Microsoft technologies deemed appropriate for integration.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Qualified candidates must be self-starters with strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced project management environment,  detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

The qualified candidates will possess the following technical skills: ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2000, Web Services, SQL Reporting Services, .NET Remoting, Strong understanding of Rules-based Engine concepts utilizing XML, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

 

Education/Experience

 

We are seeking .NET Web Developers that have a Bachelor's degree with 2 more more years of experience using the .NET Framework.  Experience in developing a scalable, flexible and manageable Integrated Business Solutions and Reporting Systems.  Certification and/or Microsoft training a plus.
