NOC IDS Engineer- 2nd Shift

We are currently interviewing for a NOC IDS Engineer.

 

Requirements:Commercial-grade command line Unix system administration skills in a widely, distributed enterprise environment are required.  An advanced understanding of layer 3 and application level protocols is desired.

 Network management and troubleshooting experience is required.Ability to investigate and provide clear written analysis of network security issues required.Experience with Firewall management and log analysis required.Experience configuring and monitoring enterprise-class multi-sensor distributed network IDS systems is required.Candidates must possess up-to-date knowledge of Internet security. Working experience with Internet security issues is strongly desired.Demonstrated strong verbal communication skills.

?  Part time availability for monitoring IDS pager may be required. Small company experience, flexibility to wear many hats and multi-tasking ability are necessary. A BS/Master?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
