Job Specific Knowledge and Experience: Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of difficult  mechanical problems.Role involves being a part of the Processes, Methodologies and Tools department that develops and deploys solutions to improve new product development effectiveness across the enterprise
Requires a broad understanding of new product development and introduction (NPDI) including solution components of MCAD, ECAD, PDM, PLM, BOM and configuration management, ERP integration, Collaboration, Stage-Gate based product development and lifecycle management (with deep expertise in one or more areas preferred)
Requires the ability to work as internal consultant with multiple engineering and business functional stakeholder users and groups, to develop detailed business requirements and  functional specifications, with detailed process documentation, use cases and scenarios.  Also requires the ability to develop and pilot solution, plan for deployment and business readiness, develop detailed test plans using the use cases and scenarios, coordinate production deployment, and provide post-production system support.  Requires working with the IS&T organization in the development of the technical solution considering the global enterprise requirements.Requires a broad understanding of the UGS PLM Solution Suite including UG NX CAD (3D modeling, 2D Drafting, Routing, large assembly management etc), Teamcenter Engineering (data management, configuration management, multi-site collaboration), Teamcenter Community and Visualization (design and supplier collaboration, digital mockup), other Teamcenter solution modules.  Requires experience in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support phases of UGS PLM solutions Required: Excellent interpersonal skills; customer relations oriented; excellent management skills. Typically requires BS in related discipline or BA in Business with 5+ years directly related experience. Mechanical Design. Unigraphics design expert a must. Responsibilities: Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters. Organizes interdepartmental responsibilities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
