.Net Developer

.NET Developer   Mid-level programmer will work in a team environment to design and implement Web based projects of varying complexity. Candidate must have background in .NET and Web programming. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft platform, and experience with SQL Server and SharePoint is also necessary. Previous experience with extracting and managing data from legacy mainframe systems a plus.

Job Duties

? Design, develop, integrate and support multi-tiered .NET-based as required by project goals
Work with end users to understand business needs of programs
Design functional and technical solutions, including data and process flow, program and database designs. Able to articulate Program Specifications both verbally and written.
Document requirements, scope and design per the SDLC process
Recognizes areas for improvement within the team, the process, technology, etc. and takes appropriate action to initiate the change
Work independently to solve complex technical problems requiring judgment based on functional experience

Technical Skills
At least 3 years of experience in .NET technology (.NET Assemblies, ASP, IIS, MSMQ, etc.)
In depth knowledge of .NET frameworks
At least 2 years of experience with XML, XSLT
Previous experience with SharePoint a plus
Experienced in full life cycle of software development; requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
Previous experience developing COM objects and web services preferred
Experience in creating software architecture documents or other design artifacts and following a robust SDLC process
