The Network Administrator is responsible for managing, administering and supporting the company's IT infrastructure across multiple sites, including servers, local and wide-area networks, e-mail and phone systems. This role will be implementing and administering security, antivirus, and backup solutions while also developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans and other documentation.  The selected candidate will plan and execute upgrades, research new hardware and software products, and provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel, under the supervision of the Technical Services Supervisor.

Qualifications include a minimum 3-5 years of network and server administration experience in a multi-site, multi-platform environment. In-depth experience with Windows server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, group policies and Exchange is required. A strong background in network security and the administration of LAN, WAN, and VPN environments is necessary. Familiarity with Linux and UNIX is needed. Other desirable qualifications include a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field, and administration experience with database systems (including SQL Server and MySQL), web services (including Apache and IIS), and Sendmail.
