This position will support a broad range of IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work as part of a global IT team to provide world-class support to facility and field based associates around the world.

Primary duties will be focused on locations within North America. Those duties will include:

?Maintain and support technology infrastructure at Arden, NC facility, including PCs, servers, tape backups, hubs, switches, firewalls, routers, VPN appliances, cable plant, wireless access points and bar code scanning devices.Maintain, support and administer a multi-level Active Directory domain namespace.Maintain and support Websense internet content filtering appliance.Maintain support and configure Cisco PIX firewall/VPN devices at remote locations to ensure maximum uptime.Provide telephone support to remote locations for resolution of networking and connectivity problems.Provide advanced operating system support for Windows 9x, Windows NT, 2000/XP and 2003 on PCs and servers.Provide advanced user application support, as needed, for MS Office, Reflections, Cisco VPN client software, etc.Collaborate with other IT personnel in the completion of group IT projects, as required.Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal skills, as this position interacts with associates at all levels within the organization. This position will require at least an Associates Degree in CIS or a related discipline, with at least three years experience working in a production environment. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA and others. Experience with shopfloor data collection and barcoding systems preferred. Occasional travel to remote sites can be expected. Position reports to the Manager of Technology Infrastructure.
