Network Administrator I

A construction oriented company, Boston Sand & Gravel produces and distributes ready mix concrete, sand, gravel, stone, bark mulch and specialty soils from 20 active facilities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This is a corporate level position reporting to the IS Manager of Boston Sand & Gravel Company. The Network Administrator will work in the corporate office in Boston, MA.

 

The applicant must be able to:

Setup, configure, and support a local and wide area network;

Maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations;

Identify and troubleshoot network performance issues;

Maintain disaster recovery plan;

Recommend and implement upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment;

Provide technical support and guidance to users.

The position requires a college degree with 1-2 years of experience in the information technology field.

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT/IS field with willingness to learn unique applications.
