Network Designer

Network Designer Description: JOB DUTIES: Support the Northwest Regional network Design,
Installation, and Maintenance organization through:
Performing network design, network installation, and network maintenance functions for the data, voice and video network infrastructure.






Requirements:
JOB SKILLS: Primary focus area/skill needed is in data network
maintenance/restoration of man/lan/wan and wireless technologies.

- CCNP
- Experience using network analyzing tools (fluke meters, sniffers, etc), Proficient in UNIX a plus
- Prior experience and general knowledge of associated computing infrastructure and applications.
- Experience supporting information systems. Designing, installing and/or maintaining networks is essential
- Ability to identify issues & recommend/implement solutions
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Proficient in providing accurate detailed analyses while maintaining broad business perspective
- Ability to understand network cost management and the importance of balancing quality, cost and delivery.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize & work independently in fast paced environment. Good judgment & decision-making skills.
- Strong customer focus & active learner.
- employee must posses leadership qualities and have experience participating on teams.


Prefer an advanced degree in computer science or related technical discipline and at least 6 years experience with telecommunications networks and team leadership.
