The Network Engineer will focus on DTD operation and maintenance of all network components. Responsibilities include:

 
Managing the operation and maintenance of all network devices for the department (specifically Cisco routers/switches, VPN concentrators, Nokia checkpoint firewalls and F5 load balancers)
Assisting with systems rollout and network requirements
Providing feedback on various projects
Handling WAN transports and protocols, including Frame Relay, ISDN, EIGRP, HSRP and MPLS
Assuming responsibility for the network as it pertains to Basking Ridge data center
Supporting external connections to customers and connectivity to network
Establishing a stand alone network environment (including design, implementation and maintenance)
Making recommendations for upgrading architecture



*Position is part of an on-call rotation.
 

Experience with Cisco router and switches, Windows operating system and

Firewall is required. CCNA or CCDP certification is preferred. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
