Network Infrastructure Secruity Engineer, RW1109

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experience Network Infrastructure Security Engineer with Xacta Corporation, our subsidiary that provides security-centric services and products in the areas of information assurance, secure wireless, and secure messaging. This position is located in Shrewsbury, NJ.

The successful candidate will be conducting certification and accreditation, network security assessments, and security engineering work. This position requires experience in enterprise level routing and switching, virtual private networking, network intrusion detection systems, and firewalls. Candidate should possess strong working knowledge of routing protocols, TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, Cisco PIX, and AAA. Experience with configuring access control lists, screening routers, various firewalls as well as designing and implementing network infrastructures is also required.



Requirements: Experience with network vulnerability assessment techniques, application level firewalls, as well as physical/procedural security best practices is a plus 3-6 years experience and a BS/CS, engineering or other technology degree preferred CCNP, CCSP, MCSE or CISSP desirable Knowledge of UNIX (Solaris, Linux) administration, and/or Windows system administration (Active Directory) Programming experience, including shell, Perl, PHP, Java, or web application development a plus Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment directly with customers and developers The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information, which requires a US citizenship.
