Job Description:

Assignment

This individual will be responsible for day-to-day management of a large international data network. Duties will include monitoring and managing both Local Area and Wide Area Network infrastructures while providing Level Two customer service to IT and Client Business Units.

 

Primary Responsibilities

1) Incident and Problem Management (troubleshooting) experience using one or more of the following systems - HP Openview, Cisco Works, and NetScout Performance Monitor Suite.

 

 

Required Skills:

General Qualifications

Degree Preference: Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business preferred.

Certification Requirement: CCNA and CCNP

 

Required General Skills

1) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.

2) Excellent communication skills.

3) Outstanding customer service and phone skills.

4) Willingness to work shifts, rotation is clearly defined.

 

Required Technical Skills

1) Network Operations - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

2) Excellent Incident and Problem resolution skills. - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

3) Working knowledge in Cisco device configuration. - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

4) Experience in troubleshooting a switched LAN and large diversified WAN. - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

5) Working knowledge of HP OpenView in both proactive and reactive environments. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.

 

Preferred Technical Skills

1) Experience with IT Information Library (ITIL) methodologies. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.

2) Knowledge of UNIX and/or Windows platforms. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
