Network Operations Center Associate

Comdata is among the world?s leading providers of electronic credit and debit transaction processing and reporting for retailers, merchants and commercial fleet operators.? We are currently searching for a?Network Operations Center Associate to work within our Team IT?Division.

This position is responsible for maintaining our Intranet and POS networks.? The primary objective for this position is to monitor, troubleshoot and resolve network production issues in a timely and professional manner.? You will monitor WAN/LAN using MIBs, SNMP and intrusion detection tools.? This position requires extensive interaction with both internal and external customers and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.? Strong analytical skills are required, plus must be detailed and accurate in logging and closing open tickets.? The ability to work under pressure is essential.

The successful candidate must have two plus years of related experience; or have equivalent combination of education and experience.? The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and be capable of explaining procedures in writing or verbally.? The individual in this position must be able to work independent of direct supervision.? They must have experience with WAN circuits including point to point, frame relay, ISDN and other digital and analog circuits.? They must also have knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches and firewalls.? Being a team player is essential and they must be able to work a flexible schedule.? 4 year college degree or technical training is preferred.? CCNA is preferred and Cisco Certification is a plus. ?This position will require being able to work a flexible work schedule.
