Network Planning Consultant

Service planning and systems engineering. Requires ability to take complex business requirements and translate them into technical requirements/specifications for implementation by development organizations. The contractor must be able to assess technical impacts and be able to translate this into budget/cost estimates. The contractor must be able to lead a service delivery team and take the project through the design/development/testing/implementations phases involved in a service delivery. The contractor will be held accountable for the delivery of the service, from concept through completion.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of VoIP network architectures, standards (e.g. IMS) and protocols (e.g. SIP, H.323). Knowledge of Enterprise VoIP services. Leadership skills. Requirements specification skills. Familiarity with PSTN network architecture and services. 9+ years experience in Telecom services planning, including voice services.
