Network Security Consultant

All candidates must be a US citizen and are required to obtain government security clearance once engaged. No prior security clearance is required. Background checks are part of the clearance process (Public Trust Clearance).  Candidate must be intermediate to advanced in Cisco PIX firewall and Checkpoint NG (Nokia and Sun platforms) firewall experience and possess advanced Cisco Router configuration and troubleshooting experience. Lucent Brick firewall, Blue Coat Proxy, Cisco IDS experience is preferred but not required. Any security related certifications, including CISSP, all Cisco certifications, Checkpoint CCSA and CCSE, Nokia and SUN Microsystems cerifications are also preferred. Unix experience required.  REQUIRED SKILLS: Checkpoint NG Firewall, Cisco Pix Firewall, Unix Skills, Cisco Router skills DESIRED SKILLS: Checkpoint FW, Cisco PIX FW, Checkpoint NG/Provider-1 experience  Candidate must be willing to work a determined shift in a 24/7/365 Operational support environment. Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends may be required. If selected, your shift will be determined based on the business need and current shift opening. This Level 3 candidate's primary responsibility is to provide network security customer support in a Fault Management and MACD Change Management operations support structure for new a large number of clientele.
